We take the utmost care, every step of the way to ensure that your finished project is even better than you could’ve imagined, and that starts long before we show up to your property with our equipment. We’ll walk with you through the process from start to finish and never leave you wondering or worrying about your property’s transformation. This is where it gets exciting.

Outdoor Aspects Project Process, Customer Journey

1. It starts with a conversation

We’ll chat on the phone to review the general scope of the work you’d like completed, and discuss your location, timing, and budget. We’ll review your location from Google maps street view, and may ask for pictures of your outdoor space via email so we can have a further understanding of your space. 

2. Then a consultation.

Now we’re coming for a visit! If we both agree that working together sounds like a good fit, we’ll schedule an initial site visit (ISV) at a time that works for you!

At the initial site visit, we’ll walk around your property together and we’ll do a lot of listening. We want to hear your hopes for your outdoor space. We’ll suggest solutions and give rough budget estimates and let you know when you can expect a detailed quote. If you choose to have a design created, we’ll do that next. Otherwise, we’ll skip to the numbers (step 4) and provide you with an accurate quote, detailing what it will take to make your vision come to life.

3. See it come to life.

Our plans are always presented in full colour, to scale, 2D drawings to help you visualize where we’re going. We’re always available to review all aspects of the plan with you and clarify the vision for your property. Now is the time to ask questions and make changes.

4. The numbers are in

Based on what we discussed, we’ll send you an estimate via email for your consideration. We know investing in professional landscape services is a big decision, and we want to make sure you’re comfortable moving forward. Our estimates give a detailed breakdown for design, construction, installation, or any other services you need.

5. Final quote and schedule

We’ll finalize the estimate into a firm quote which we’ll email over and follow up with a phone call. This quote will only change if the plans change or additions are made. After you review the plan, you sign on the dotted line, put down a 10% deposit to hold your spot, and pay any outstanding design fees. 

6. Pre-project check-in

We’ll give you a heads up 1-2 weeks in advance to remind you of your project start date, re-confirm all aspects of the plan, and let you know what to expect on the first few days.

7. The big day!

The moment you’ve been waiting for! On startup day, we’ll review the pre-production checklist for job details, collect a deposit, and get the team going on site.

8. Continuing care

Throughout the project we will always inform you of any interruptions in the work schedule, and will touch base regularly, especially at critical times like layouts of hard and softscapes, planting time, and completion. Halfway through completion, we require another deposit payment.

9. Final walk-through

At the end of the project, we’ll walk through your property with you again, back where we started only with different surroundings! We’ll make sure there aren’t any deficiencies and will correct any issues. Once you are completely satisfied, it’s time for the final payment and to say our goodbyes!
